But better late than not at all right?

The poll results for the change in format of this site are interesting so far,
plus the comments and emails I have been getting.
I really do appreciate everyone for participating and voicing your ideas/ thoughts.

That is part of what makes Dogs on Thursday so much fun.
Other then visiting everyone's doggie posts!
I have been working lots of extra hours lately so I apologize for being delayed in reading everyone's posts.

There are a few days left on the poll so I will post the results next Thursday.

I have been wondering if everyone would think it was okay if I opened this site up to were everyone can post on here too?

I have set up a Poll to find out how you feel about that.

I was thinking about doing this in the very beginning but then thought it would be simpler for everyone to just post on their own sites.
But to be honest I would like to see your dog pictures on here with my own sweet pooch each week!
But I sure do love posting about her so I will continue to do that too regardless of the poll results!

Don't smell crotches, don't eat plants, Don't steal food or underpants.

Don't eat my socks; don't grab my hair,,,

DON'T RIP THE STUFFING FROM THAT CHAIR!!
Don't eat those peas, don't touch that bush, Don't chew my shoes, what IS this mush!?!

Eat your cookies, drink your drink,

Outta the toilet! Outta the sink!
AWAY FROM THE LITER BOX, IT'S FOR THE CAT!

Raising a puppy is not for the lazy,

Those rugrats are funny, but also quite crazy.

We have had quite a few new people join in the last week and a half.

Please go visit and say 'Hello' and as always sniffing and slobbering are optional.

Don't forget our 'Doggie Costume Contest' started last week and will run until October 24th.

I hope everyone has a barking good week during this change in season!

Elise and I are certainly happy it is Fall again on the prairie!

In honor of the start of the wonderful Autumn season 'Dogs on Thursday' is going to have a Fall Celebration/Halloween dogs costume contest.
It begins now and will run until the bewitching hour on Wednesday October 24th.
So put on your creativity caps and consult with your pooches about what costume they would want to wear.
When they have made their decision and you have
(by whatever means you want)
Put a costume together for your dear fur babies, take a picture of them in their costume and post it on your blog site before midnight October 24th.
A non-biased judge (and probably from a non-biased species) will check out every entry and on Thursday October 25th.
I will then post on this site a doggie costume Parade of pictures and list the winner.

Then a spooktacular prize will be sent to the winning dog!
